Some more pictures!
Our radio broadcast at the Open Channel Berlin (partII). This time with all of us. About our topic of minorities in Israel and Germany. We made little groups to some of the projects we´ve been to and presented them.
Jan did make the showmaster for us and he wasn´t as nervous as when we made it the first time in january. Sounded when he never did anything else!
Carmit and me had the MILA project in Kreuzberg. Integrating homosexual migrants and helping them by their coming out. Also reminding the audience to visit the respect gaymes.
We haven´t really learned our presentation but it was good, even it was more spontanious.
Frank and me wanted to say good bye at the airport. So I brought them there, to be sure that they won´t get lost in the big city. He came after with his car to bring me to universtity later.
On one hand side kind of happy that they will fly back home to their familys but also already missing the time we all had together.

tension increases each day
I had a realaxing long weekend with some work and an open air concert with awesome weather.
On the weekend I called Natanael and we´re having some kind of fast change. He is coming back from Jerusalem only 10 days before I´m flying there. Told him already to show me his pics so I can get some ideas where to go in the country and see something.
Yesterday I got a fax from the beit ben jehuda and because of that I already ordered the flights. Now july 19th until september 4th are for sure to be spent in Israel.
Today I brought the last papers to the International Office and got the contract for the Internship.
Now that everything is done so far I don´t even want to wait for nearly two more months to get started heading to Tel Aviv. Carmit called me on saturday to tell me that the timespan is ok with her and she is excited as well.
This weekend my grandparents are coming to Berlin so I´ll have to tell my grandma. Guess she´ll be a little mad at me because she is afraid that anything will happen over there. Hope to take them on a tour with me on the bus for some sightseeing on saturday. But it shouldn´t be a problem with any of my drivers.
So now the cleaning starts not just because 2 of my shelves fell from the wall again. Now I have some holes there and don´t know where to put my books and stuff. I also rented the room to somebody while I´m gone so I am not going to have much more expenses in paying my rent.
Hope to see so many of my friends again, perhaps also some of my Goonies, I haven´t heard of since quite a while. And this time I want to see much more of the countryside, than Jerusalem and Tel Aviv where I´m staying during the week.
Cann´t wait to jump into the airplane at the moment...
ups and downs
UP:
My mom calls me to say that my dad is having a job again. On contract in a company with his 47 years. So they both don´t need to worry about his own business anymore which never really came up very well.
UP:
Giving Kathaarina von Münster my application for the internship in the Beit Ben Jehuda in Jerusalem personally.
DOWN:
I finally got my easter presents from my family when I picked up my dad from work. This year I didn´t need to search for it. But he forgot it in the hot car during the day and so it was all melted.
DOWN:
Getting a call from work that bus number 4 is broken and taken off the street. I should have worked on it last weekend, saturday and sunday. At least 180,-€ gone.
UP:
Sending postcards to friends in Israel and USA. Trying to call some of them. Reaching Carmit and she offers me when it works out with the internship I can stay during that time in her place in Tel Aviv.
Down:
The woman from the International Office in the university stops my enthusiasm amd say I would need a Social Worker as supervisor only when a teatcher of a seminar- she couldn´t even tell me which- gives me the OK, I can take also somebody with a diploma in Political Sciences.
UP/DOWN:
Being contacted by someone I haven´t heard of since a while. Made thinking about feelings again, I have avoided for some weeks now.
DOWN:
Catching a cold and don´t know where and when. Looking like rolled over by a tank.
UP:
Email form Jerusalem that I got the place. Jumping around like crazy in the flat.
DOWN:
A call from work again that the bus is still not running and I would have to work on it on saturday again. At least 90,-€ blown in the wind.
UP:
Only positive thing about it is, that I can try to recover a little, because on sunday I will have to work on the old Zille- bus and I have some more time to work on my presentation for tuesday.
It is kind of the same as ususal those extreme ups and down of emotions.
great weekend
The last weekend was really awesome, I haven´t really had much sleep, but a lot of fun.
On friday I went with some girls form my first semester right after the last seminar to the Treptower Park where we met some others and the later it got the more people where coming. We had a BBQ with more people then expected form our first semester. It was fun and we had the chance to meet and talk besides university and learn to know each other better in private. But I had to go early (around 11pm) because next day I had to work.
Saturday was my second time this season on the bus. Even thogh the weather was great, perhaps a little to hot, we haven´t sold many tickets and only picked up some more in between. After that I went to Moran. Her flatmate was having a birthday party and they made a flat party out of it. We could have opened a second Israeli embassy with all the members who were there. Amasing was that I met Assaf again who we had made a workshop for our kids with. Even I have seen him only that one day he remembered my name. There were really a lot of people and it became more fun when everyone embarassed itsself by singing karaoke. This night I came home around half past 5.
The sunday I used for sleeping loooong, because in the evening we (David, 2 Thomas´, Dirk and another guy) to a concert of Blumenfeld. It was a farewell concert than the band is going to split after this tour. Music was good as usual when live and we had some beer so Davis had to keep me on the line when walking back home.
On monday was not a free day for me either. I should have gone to a lecture but I needed to get some books for the seminars so I did something else usefull instead. Awaiting the Walpurgis-night. It became a custom in the last night of april supposed to be for whitches dancing around fires. Home sweet home, I am one of them, I think. So we went to Boxhagener square close to home, where my sister had to work. The night is also some kind of warm up for the street fights expected on 1st of may. After midnight some idiots started again the aggressions towards the police, throwing bottles and whatelse they could find. Often I got the feeling that it is also a happening for policemen to get rid of some own aggressions.
On first of may, I didn´t stay at home either, but kept it quiet. I went with some friends for minigolf instead of going to one of the demonstrations this year. I made the first place to be seen from behind, but winning doesn´t matter for me at all. Finishing the day with a BBQ on the balcony in the company of good friends made me happy.
So I had a lot of action, but tried to keep the balance with other fun stuff.
